tr_🇺🇦 Damn you and your ultradoom guitars and almost overbearing synths! I was hyped to go out today but due to the very recent increase in darkness and low burning hatred (aka "fun") comming from my headphones, I'll have a dumb metal face now for hours. There are even some clean male vocals in here I actually like. The only words I understood were "Yog Sothoth" - it will do. Would never have guessed *this* is a one man show. A well earned 4,8 out of 5 extra sour grapefruits.

yellowfan I LOVE funeral doom and Lovecraft. I listen to metal for the emotional/feeling side of life. I like to sit saturated in all the blissful crushing and let it overwhelm me. Solemn They Await does all of this for me. Slow, crushing, beautiful, and brutal. A masterpiece of existential dread. Behold.

Abysmal winds stir from within the dying earth Inhuman groans haunt the timeless forsaken gulf An eternal winter, lying dormant, calling from below Wretched chants of hideous clarity Teem with discordance and malicious intent Remnants of past optimism now to decay Masked by the reverence of the blind Whom feast themselves sick To awake their idiot god bound within Unearthly echoes sink once more into the cold depths Pulled down towards the endless expanse below Stirring the sands uneasy, disturbing the fabric of time

As the jaded moon descends upon ashen lands, Where ghouls mass in ethereal swarms As the winds howl from beneath the nether and from the archaic monolith of unholy creation As the horizon begins to fade; Antediluvian screams cry from beyond Howls from before the beginning of time And before the beginning of creation Trapped in timeless meditation Serpents from Archean aeons Dream without dawn. Serpent! Serpent! Serpents Conclave Stipulating the demise of the present race; Supporting its life through the brutalities of the Kali Yuga And ushering into existence a future race, They thrive on the malice of their reigning progeny.

The Lurker at the Threshold spawns to black eternity whose mask; congeries of iridescent globes. The hideous horror from beyond the realm of stars and time. Worshipers of the spawn of the blankness of primal time lie still, frozen by the droning call of Yog-Sothoth. The painted air expels them, to arise to a new despair and illusion. The cold nighted sky spews forth the blood of angels. The night brought winds from archaic, The last breath of a dying sun. The cold brought stalkers in the blackness, In the company of bright angels. The failing breath of divinity A hymn to the failing winds. None may dare wish their final breath, For to evoke death is to utter the final prayer. Forever fated to dwell below the lightless sky. I've foreseen horror which never should have been. In failing light, windswept dust weaves itself through these lost expanses. A haunting melody, a dark caress. A vast horizon darkens, the last breath of a dying sun.
